First of all, almost all reenacting units require you to be at least 18 years old due to liability issues. Most reenactments are full of potential accidents, since you will be around firearms, bladed weapons, fires, and all sorts of other stuff. Some units will make exceptions, but will require your family to appoint a “guardian” for you during events....
